WHAT WE DO
Worship
Worship is central to our life together here at St. John's. We gather every Sunday to hear the Holy Scriptures, pray, sing, and partake in Holy Communion. Our worship service is in the Episcopal Tradition. We use the Book of Common Prayer and the Hymnal 1982. There is a bulletin that outlines the liturgy. We have a choir led by Eastman School of Music Organ Student Daniel Chang. The choir provides support for the service music and offers an anthem. We have a soft space for our younger friends. At St. John's, every human being is welcome at God's Table.
Fellowship
We are a community of people who loves to spend time together. We have a number of fellowship events throughout the year including: Parish Picnic at Onanda Park, a croquet tournament, book groups, coffee hours, an art show celebrating the talents of our own parishioners, and family events.
Outreach
We have a very active Outreach Team that meets regularly to discuss organizations on the local, national, and international level we would like to support. Some of the organizations we have donated to include: Family Promise of Ontario County, Episcopal Relief and Development, World Central Kitchen, and The Storybook Project at Ontario County Jail.
